Top Loaders Vs Front Loaders Review - Pros and Cons of Using These Washers

!±8± Top Loaders Vs Front Loaders Review - Pros and Cons of Using These Washers

Top load washing machines have been around for the longest time. Front loaders are slowly replacing them. In fact, in the UK, 90% of households use front load washers as they are known to have the features that can make life a lot more convenient.

This is the point where I will have to say that there are also some ups and downs to using each washer, even the highly-coveted front loaders. And these pros and cons may determine which of these two technologies you will likely go for in a washer. So let us get the comparison started.

Pros and Cons Of Top Loaders
The cleaning action of top loading washers is much different. The usual top loaders have agitators that facilitate the spinning action inside the tub. The upside to this is that the washing cycle is much faster than that of a front loader.

Also, you can use any type of detergent as the soap suds do not confuse the washer functions. High efficiency detergents can actually cost a lot so using less expensive detergents is a good option here. You also do not have to bend down to unload and load your clothes.

There are more downsides to using top loaders, however. The agitator can be a bit cumbersome rather than helpful. You have to select which clothes have delicate fabrics that are likely to be ruined by the agitator. Also, this washer consumes much more energy and water than front loaders.

Prose and Cons Of Front Loaders
Front load washers can be considered the saving grace of washing machines as this solves the general issues found in top loaders. By construction, it is more energy and water efficient. The washing action also utilizes less water and energy cutting back on your bills significantly. You are also eligible for tax rebates.

The downside is that you need to use HE detergent which can be expensive. But if it is any consolation, you will need just a few amount of detergent to wash your clothes. Also, it is a bit of a challenge to install these washers. You might need to place it on a cabinet or a platform so you do not constantly have to bend down to retrieve your clothes.

There are also front loaders that copy some of the functions of front loaders so you might want to extend your washer options to them. But whatever you do, make sure it is a washing machine that can really solve your clothes washing dilemmas.
